1. WHAT I SAW
At a struggling automotive service location, I could see the problems clearly: no practical way to identify customers who had stopped returning, no usable contact information for local fleet businesses, and no reliable path for good ideas to become action.
2. WHAT I LEARNED
I proposed simple, practical reports so the team could reconnect with former customers and build stronger fleet relationships. The ideas were well received, but I did not have the authority or system support to implement them.
3. WHAT CHANGED FOR ME
So I did what I could within those limits. I took exceptional care of customers, rebuilt trust, and earned referrals. Customers followed me between locations, and fleet businesses sought me out. The location recovered, even though the underlying process problems remained.
4. WHY HALILLY
That experience became a defining reason for creating Halilly. Good people should not have to work around missing information and rigid processes just to serve customers well. Businesses need clear visibility, practical systems, and the ability to turn a good idea into a change that actually happens.
What that means
clearer ownership
more consistent processes
better visibility
systems people can actually follow
